Kodomo no Hi
May 5th in Japan is Kodomo no Hi, or, Children's Day. It used to be a day for boys, but now it's officially a day to celebrate children and their unique personalities.
Here we have RatCat wearing a paper Kabuto, a Japanese military helmet, and koi carp-shaped flags. Both are usually displayed on Kodomo no hi.
