Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

This is the first time I've drawn them together and..well...the Fairy Princess Mammoth is big (not for a mammoth, really). This drawing is A4 size and he takes up almost the whole page, lol. Here are some zoom ins of RatCat and Lucy:

This drawing was a lot of fun to make. Hope y'all like it.

Until next time!

RatCat and the bag, part 2

Ok, so it's been a while since I posted "RatCat and the bag, part 1". Since then I've gotten promarkers and this 2nd part has been made with them. For those who didn't see part 1 (and don't feel like going back to that post): basically RatCat was chillin' in his alley when a mysterious moving bag was dropped on/thrown at his head. Here's part 2!

After removing the rope from the bag a blue head belonging to a weird looking kitten popped out of the bag.
RatCat was unsure what to think of these creatures that were just dropped in his alley.
More and more colorful kittens came out of the bag, taking an interest in RatCat.
RatCat felt warm and fuzzy inside being surrounded by the litter of colorful kittens and was happy they were dropped on his head (although he would have preferred it if they had arrived in a different manner, lol).

The mysterious bag turned out the beginning of the friendship between RatCat and the colorful litter of kittens, who had not actually been featured on this blog before but I have drawn them a few times before. For instance:

The kittens were most likely dumped from a shady laboratory above RatCat's alley. I have the feeling they won't be the last creatures to be thrown out of there...

Tomorrow is Halloween and I'll post my Halloween drawing featuring RatCat, the Fairy Princess Mammoth and Lucy von Fledermaus all ready to go Trick or Treating. :)

Almost time for Halloween!

Since it's almost Halloween I made these Halloween RatCats:

Here we have a RatCat Pumpkin.

And a RatCat ghost.

I'm working on a drawing for Halloween starring RatCat, the Fairy Princess Mammoth and Lucy von Fledermaus. Coming on Halloween.

Introducing: Lucy von Fledermaus

Lucy von Fledermaus is a sad vampire girl. She likes cloudy days and bunnies. She dislikes sunny or rainy days, bats, and being so lonely. She lives in a castle. Alone except for the grumpy vampire slug (Count Slugula) that lives in one of the towers. I drew her once before, but I decided she needed a make-over and I'm glad I gave her one!

She likes to drink tea/blood and play dress up (/I like to play dress up with her), and she would love to have a tea-party with friends one day. She tried to invite Count Slugula once, but he did not want to be part of some silly dress up tea-party or whatever.

Not to worry though, she will meet RatCat and the Fairy Princess Mammoth! I even think Count Slugula might warm up someday. The RatCat she is holding here is a stuffed animal btw. The real RatCat would be slightly bigger.

So far Lucy's introduction. Until next time!

Introducing: Evil Space RatCat!

He has been a sketch for far too long, but now I finally made an actual drawing of him (and practiced my promarker skills, which are not perfect + still figuring out all the colors.). So here he is:

He's up to no good and has declared RatCat his nemesis (RatCat doesn't even know there is such a thing as a space RatCat yet, but Evilly (as I like to call him) tends to be a bit dramatic). He spends most of his time in his evil laboratory on his space ship. He created his minion, a mutated dust-bunny, by accident in this very lab.

He is also scheduled to star in an upcoming performance of Goldilocks (guess who he'll be playing).

Until next time!

Introducing: The Nerdy Beaver and Family

Allow me to introduce to you the Nerdy Beaver and his family. His family consists of Father Beaver, his little sister, and his grandma. As you can see Nerdy doesn't feel all that comfortable standing so close to his little sister. I can't say I blame him.

This is the first drawing I did with my new promarkers from letraset (graduation present from my parents! yay!). I still need some practice, but I think I did alright. There are just so many colors!

That's it for now. I really need to finish the story about RatCat and the bag, lol. I might use my new markers for that too! Until next time!

P.s. It's very annoying that blogger only has set image sizes (like small, medium, large, XL). Large wasn't big enough and XL is slightly too big to fit into the frame. So grandma's tail is just sticking out a bit. Plus it made no difference if I centered the pic or if I selected left...

RatCat and the bag, part 1

RatCat was just sitting in his alley when...

...he got hit in the head with a big brown bag!
???
Slowly RatCat removes the rope from the moving bag...
Wondering what's in it? Well, I haven't drawn that part yet, so you'll have to wait!

New pages & RatCat Nurse

Yesterday I realized I haven't posted anything on this blog for three months. It was my goal to post something at least once a month. FAIL! Well, to make up for my lack of activity I have added a few new pages to the blog (I didn't know I could do that, lol). While not really finished you'll now find a page "History" about the creation history of RatCat and a page "Characters" about, well...the different characters that live in the world of RatCat. I also added a new header, but it might be a little too big?

Since I don't like to post anything without a drawing, here's a little RatCat nurse (soon to be followed by a RC doctor and two different kinds of RatCat patients).

Until next time!
